Cooking Hints

"Why've we been eating cardboard all these years?"
-A satisfied customer.

Our beef is delicious, but it's not the same as what you'd find in a store. We've found a few tricks that help you maintain its natural goodness as you cook:

• With most of our cuts, no tenderizer is needed. We recommend cooking with your favorite seasoning blend instead of using Barbecue sauce.
• We all love using grilling machines, but don't use them to cook 7 Bar 2 Beef steaks. Our beef has just the right amount of fat to keep the meat juicy and delicious; grilling machines tend to squeeze juices from the food they cook.
• Try broiling in your oven or cooking on the Barbecue or in a pan. Never use forks to turn the steaks; they create holes that allow the juices to flow out of the meat. Use tongs or a spatula instead.
• What ever you do.... don't over cook it. Due to it's deliciously juicy nature, our beef may appear to be "undercooked", when in fact it is cooked to perfection. A temperature probe may be the only way to tell if it is cooked to your tastes. Or cutting into it may give you a good indication of it's "doneness".
